The AsalAra Flat Gate Valve is a slab-type gate valve with a through-conduit design, engineered for critical shut-off applications in pipeline systems. Designed to provide tight sealing and minimal pressure drop, this valve includes a single-piece solid gate that slides between two seat rings, creating a full-bore opening with zero turbulence—ideal for long-distance oil, gas, and chemical pipelines.
The valve is capable of bi-directional sealing, and the flat gate design ensures bubble-tight shut-off with minimal operating torque. Many variants are equipped with floating seats, self-relieving sealing mechanisms, and internal cavity relief systems to prevent pressure buildup between seats and gate. This valve is widely used in buried or above-ground pipelines, pump stations, and terminal manifolds.
