AsalAra Trough Conduit Gate Valve
- Trough Conduit Gate Valve
The AsalAra Trough Conduit Gate Valve is designed for high-integrity shut-off in pipeline systems where minimal pressure drop and full bore flow are essential. Unlike flat slab gates, the trough-shaped gate incorporates a recessed channel that minimizes turbulence and erosion by allowing flow to pass through a streamlined passage, maintaining smooth flow profiles in oil, gas, and chemical pipelines.
This valve is ideal for large-diameter pipelines and is widely used in upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors. Its design provides bubble-tight bi-directional sealing combined with a robust seat and gate interface that resists wear and maintains integrity under severe service conditions.
The trough conduit gate valve supports pigging operations and can be equipped with double block and bleed (DBB) features through drain and vent ports for enhanced safety and maintenance.
